HUMANET: Joint project with Thales Communications Italia s.p.a. The goal of the project is to design a wireless ad-hoc network for urban indoor/outdoor environment characterized by a limited number of users, mainly UWB radio. The aim is to propose a distributed architecture capable of supplying communication services with different QoS requirements.
MAGIC DESK: Joint project with STMicroelectronics s.r.l. The project investigates ranging and positioning capabilities of Ultra Wide Band radio communication systems, with particular attention to man-machine interface applications.
